Last week, I was absolutely giddy when this package came in the mail.
I should really just show you what was inside:
If you don't have the *foggiest* idea of what these are, I'll tell ya.
They're plate hangers. Really good ones.
They're called Disc Hangers and they've been around 40 years.
The glue on the back is trustworthy... "gives a permanent adhesion of great strength to a glazed or an unglazed surface" says the website.
And yet, when you're ready for the disc hanger to come off, just immerse in warm water.
Worried about back markings?
Once you hang your plates with these, you won't be able to tell that ANYTHING is holding your plates to the wall.
Enter spooky voice: "It's a mystery... Ooooo."
Here's how to use them:
Take the plate you've chosen...
...And give it a good cleaning. Then dry it. You want a clean surface for the Disc Hanger.
Then take your Disc Hanger to the sink...
And get the back side of the hanger wet.
Rub your finger around it to activate the glue on the Disc Hanger.
Place it on your plate and give it a good strong push against the plate.
Make sure it lies flat against the plate.
I did a few more. :)
And now... I am waiting a full 24 hours so these plates can become one with the Disc Hanger. Then I'll hang them up and show you the results.
I'm downright giddy.
