"FREE Deck" I posted.
I posted on free*cycle but had no response for days.
I posted on Craigs*list.
Within one hour I had two people who definitely wanted my old deck.
ONE HOUR!
Oh, Craigs*list, how I love thee.
I told my in-laws and I told my Mom the good news. "Why didn't you ask for any money?"
*silence*
Well, what's done is done. The deck will, God willing, be gone on Saturday.
Years ago when I looked longingly at pergolas in magazines, I couldn't possibly think that it could be a reality. But sometimes God surprises us with things beyond our imagination.
With baby steps and some frugal spending, I'm hoping and working towards a bit of backyard sanctuary.
And yes, you're invited. :)
